I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good bike repair shop in Dublin which is both value for money and offers an excellent repair service.

Any of the shops I usually go to tend to replace items rather than fix them. I have an old bike that I am thinking of getting repaired and would like to have it restored to its former glory with all the original parts.

have a go at the repair yourself - that'll be much cheaper, and you'll learn new skills. if you have a digital camera, you can post photos of your bike up here on the board, and people will only be more than willing to help you out with advice.

Sure stick up a small shot of the bike in it's current state and people can advise you on what to do next. Is it a classic?

Yeah a series of photos of it will help alot.

Do close-ups for any small parts that need to be repaired/replaced.
