waiting game !

who's fed up waiting for it to come back . Its a joke at this stage. Im a big fan and im already losing interest so what does that mean for people who are only kind of into it. i'im sure ill b into it when the time comes though. Hope Sayid doesn't die or Hurley !

I don't mind waiting until February tbh. I found the season 4 ending very emotionally satisfying, more so than previous seasons and wasn't left frustrated for answers like, say, at the end of the 2nd season.

And I don't think anyone will lose interest because of the long hiatus. I mean if they've stuck with the show this long they can wait an extra few months. All the "kind of into it" people are long gone at this stage and not because of the gap between seasons.

Anyway season 4 is out on dvd in a few days.

^Agreed. however, as much as I don't like this, they are trying to win awards and make their dvds sell, this is the real reason they are waiting for a year. That and re-runs also make alot of money and are quite popular in the US.

I'm fed up waiting for it to end, but that's not going to happen for another 3 years. I can wait for it to come back, it's the very final series that's a long way off.

they dont film 16 episodes in advance ! Its just some scheme they have so their won't be stoppages. It is a pain as we usually only wait for 3 months or so for american series cos we are a bit behind them anyway.

it's just a long time since May ? I can't even remember when the last episode was ! will definitely watch it though. I miss Sawyer and jack ! Hope Locke isn't really dead that its just a scheme to get the 6 back to island. Whats the deal with christian ? I have a feeling i know who jacob is !

hahaha they only film them as they go like the episodes are filmed 10days before they are screened, thats how the storylines are so flexible with characters coming in and out of episodes, because some of the actors have other commitments and some get drunk and drive into a coconut tree and keith richards lands on their bonnet with johnny depp eating a wonka bar while a strange oompa loompa monkey jumps down grabs Jack by the ears.

You probably all know of this website but just in case there are any newbies there is a fantastic site which has extensive information on the show including spoilers. Just google darkufo and you'll be sorted. There is already a lot of information for episode 3 / 4.

Agreed. Also the shorter season really helped for season 4 in terms of overall quality. There were very few filler episodes as compared to previous years.

This is 2008, and season 5 hasn't aired yet. S5 starts in 2009, with the final season in 2010, so it's still a year and a half off ending.
