Just a little bit of info about myself so you know who you's are getting into business with.
My name is David Bradshaw I'm 29 married and with 2 beautiful girls who are aged 3 and 4. I have always kind of dabbled with running, from xcountry in secondary school with colaiste eanna and my first marathon experience in 2002 which broke me, I have only recently got back into running (FEb 2008) and my goal was to lose weight and have a sub 4 hour marathon in Dublin, I have already completed both so my next goal is sub 20 mins at the jingle bells 5K.
My main goal is the Paris marathon where I would love to go sub 3:10 as a celebration to myself for turning 30
I use to be self employed while my wife stayed at home with the kids, but after a while she decided to go back to work so I was only too happy to quit working to stay at home with the kids and focus on my running.
I played football from the age of 6 and was the left back behind Damien Duff for Leicter celtic. I actually beat him in a game of 3 nin once :D. I packed the football in straight after my marathon debut in 2002 and have not played competitve since and no longer wish to.
Running has been in my family for as long as I can remember, My mam was a runner with an impressive 10K time and my 2 uncles also ran for Donore harriers back in the day when Coughlan was about.
Its actually thanks to one of my uncles that I came to love running he use to bring me to lots of races when I was young and still does including the mountain running races.

What I can bring to Boards AC is a friendly face willing to make the dream of Boards AC work, I have the time and can learn the know how to make it a success, Let the Q&A begin :D
