NTL DVR to SONY HDD

    I have a Sony HDD which I have hardly used since getting the DVR. However the DVR is now 'full up' with stuff.
    Does anybody know the handiest way to transfer films from the DVR to the HDD?

    Play from the DVR, record to the HDD. There is no way to copy the data across.
