Have the following anti spyware running on family computer
    SUPERANTI-SPYWARE
    AD-AWARE 2008
    SPYWAREGUARD
    MALWAREBYTES ANTI-MALWARE
    SPYWAREBLASTER

    along with AVG antivirus

Is the anti-malware programme carring out the same function as the antispyware software? Is this too many antispyware programmes on one computer? Which ones would you recommend to get rid off and maintain performance?

p.s. this computer uses IE + is consistently online and I find all sorts of crap downloaded onto it.

Ad-Aware and Spybot are too out-dated, they are relatively useless these days at removing malware

So what suitable alternatives would you recommend?
