    Gerard Depardieu's son Guillaume has died, aged just 37.

    Hospital officials confirmed to The Associated Press that the French actor suffered complications linked to a sudden case of pneumonia.

    The Les Apprentis star was taken into the Raymond-Poincare de Garches hospital in the western suburbs of Paris on Sunday night.

    Depardieu won the prize for the most promising young actor at the Cesar awards in 1996.
