    This is still failing and hasn't worked since the "upgrade".
    Should I tell BT about it?

    Also, should I have NAT (Network Address Translation) enabled or disabled?

    That test will always fail since your most like connecting with ADSL2+ (it's normal).

    NAT should be on always, I've had nothing but problems when disabling it.

    Theres no way of getting on the internet with a router using DHCP on a lan with NAT disabled.


    Its what changes your private ips ie: 192.168.1.5 to public ip set by your ISP say 79.97.XXX.XX

    Yeah there is. You use the static IP. It's how the internet was designed and why need IPv6. NAT was only meant to be a temporary way for companies to have internal networks without using all the IPv4 IPs.

    in Regard to the situation, do you think the original poster has static IPs set?




    Fixed for yous, i know you might loose some sleep if im not exact.
