Good Hairstylist

Hi Guys

I am looking to change my hairdresser and just wondering does anyone know a good hairstylist on the North Side? I am very fussy/nervous getting my hair done and have stuck with the same girl for years cause didn't wanna change.

I think now it's time, so if anyone could reccommend it would be great.

Hi! Ive had major hair issues in the past and have been seeing the same guy for the last 4 years. I know we cant advertise here so if you want Ill pm you his details? I went from a disasterous spur o the moment brunette to a beautiful natrual honey low blonde over thhe course of a year or so. I had to be really careful as my hair was all falling out at theh time so we had to use the best products to stop my hair from being even more damaged.

He done a really good job and stilll does. Id reccommend him to anyone. Hes reasonably priced and the salon is spotless.

And no...not related or promoting him for any other reason than he is very good at what he does.

Hes a bit sissors hapy I think maybe. Hes more a colour specialist. Im sure if you directed him properly as to exactly what you want, hed be abso fine, but if youre relying on him for imagination and funkiness, youre as well off heading into town and hitting one of the salons there.

Would you mind also pming me his details? I have dyed my hair so many colours over the years that it's in really bad condition. On top of that I have really long extensions which look great but I know as soon as they come out I'm screwed!! I'm dreading having them out. People always tell me my hair is fab and in my head I'm thinking...if only they knew the horror that lies beneath!!

Speaking of hair, when you asked about hair pieces did you mean those ponytail things?

Thanks Dellgirl, i was thinking of hitting one of the big salons but sometimes they are tooooo funky if ye know what i mean, not looking for the whole one side longer than the other if ye get me

Just want a really good cut with a style, my hair is wrecked from my straightners......

Will do np. Hes really really good with colour. Im honey blone and hate the brassiness that can develop after a while. Its never hapenned with him and I still look good after the six - 8 weeks are up and Im due in again.

If youre not going for a funky do, then Id give him a bash tbh. hes never ruined my hair with a cut and maybe its just because Im paranoid about trigger happy sissors syndrome. I have shoulder length hair and an inch too much could be a disaster. He does actually cut my hair. I thought you were after a T&G look.

Yah the hairpieces are like the clip on and off ones. It looks like Cousin It when I have it off and has frightened one guy quite badly when I was taking it off one day. He thought I had ripped half my scalp off His face was so funny!
