I doubt it tbh, I remember much better and well recived drama's then RAW didn't get a second season. Pure mule being the one that sticks out in my mind.

In saying that I thought it wasn't bad,
    mal walking away
was a bit random. It would have been a very poor show without JoJo.

Pure Mule didn't lend itself to a second series as well as RAW does so I reckon they might just go with it. It finished with so many loose ends that it lends itself perfectly to another series. I thought the last ep was great, although the actual ending was a bit dragged out.

Pure Mule was more about single stories in each ep and didn't leave us with any major questions at the end of the series.

Ah ya I agree with you there budd but what I ment to put across is that it was a vastly superior show with a greater following (AFAIK). So its hard to know what they are going todo, I might ad that some shows are deliberately left with massive question marks so you have to make up your own mind.

Very true.. I do think in this case though that it was written as if the first of two series, and I think whether there's a second series or not will depend on audience figures, public reaction etc.. and possibly these days depend on finance!

I think overall the public reaction has been positive though, so I wouldn't be surprised it we see it again..

You are joking right? The might as well have had scrolling text on the bottom of the frame flashing "CHARACTER EXPERIENCING PERSONAL GROWTH".

It may well garner a second series and if so they really have to change the director. Far too many overused and antiquated devices like the jump cuts and party scenes that make Human Traffic seem gauche. Moreover, most of music was years old (one must wonder at the kind of mind that thinks Underworld are contemporary) and poorly chosen.

That said, I found the whole series mildly enjoyable and by the abysmal standards of an RTE drama aimed at the younger end of the audience, it was as good as it gets.

I'm nearly certain I read somewhere that your one Jo Jo said that the writer of Raw was writing the 2nd series at the minute. However with the recession kicking in you never know what RTE might do next year?

why does the music have to be current?

I really enjoyed this show and can't wait for the second series.
