How I Hate NTL Digital

    I was just watching Sky One and as I was changing station the NTL box yet again has crashed. It's the most unreliable piece of junk ever. It often crashes or locks up and don't get me started on the ergnomics of the remote. Who the hell decided it was a good idea to place the Power button just above the '1'.

    I get the feeling though it's not just me though, that crashing boxes etc are common place. Oh how I miss Sky. I was in a friends apartment and they get communal Sky. Why don't more apartment complexes use Sky instead?

    As for a UPC media box it is a great box.

    The EPG is like the SKY epg and the box never crashes and the data loads up in really quickly.

    We had similar problems with NTL so we canelled and got SKy digital in about two months ago. We got Sky+ basic package for €26.00 a month with tons more channels then NTL.

    What type of box do you have? Sounds like the old small pace (dc221kn ) If your having problem they have a newer box available which come with a different remote also. Give them a call and the should replace it. The DVR is worth the extra fiver a month if you fancy going that route.
