    Cradle snatcher!

I'd be using the free WiFi here if it wasn't so painful slow, at least UL is doubling its bandwidth in the very near future!

Trying to get UPC into the house in Elm, they're telling me on the website that I can only get TV and not internet. Someone is coming out in a day or two to see can it be installed, anyone ever heard of this happening?

Dear people who decided to shuffle around the structure of my course,

I hope you all die for making this more stressful and complicated than it needed to be.

    Sincerely,
    wnolan

Yeah, UPC can't be installed everywhere. When my family went looking for it (I live near enough to UL) we were told they didn't get permission to lay some lines in our estate so we can't get it, but the houses 100 yards away can ¬_¬

Does anyone know how much you have to pay if you've missed the deadline for the Student Centre Levy? It was €72 but I assume there's a late fee.

Anyone here ever tried downloading from IndieCity on the UL Network? Not sure whether it's a problem with my firewall blocking it or UL blocking it...

Raaarrrrrrr. People who can't wait 30 lousy seconds to let the lecturer finish up the session. It's so bloody rude

Lecturer: "Now we're almost finished, I'd just like to sum up by saying: . . .

Crowd of ignorants: "Packy baggy, talky talky, putty onny coaty-woaty"

    Aaaaaargh it's so embarassing!

GAAAAH the works going on in Dromroe are wrecking my head. Damn engine has been running outside my window pretty much non-stop since 9am, making some badly needed sleep impossible. :(

Nice to know that they were sitting around for three weeks before they got the go ahead from PCC or whoever just as people were starting to arrive....

I noticed that in my very first lecture in UL. Being honest, it kind of surprised me. You'd think we'd have learned basic manners in school.

Dear group of people taking up the whole path - please don't take up the whole path and so slow you're practically walking ****ing backwards. Next time I will punch you in the back of the head instead of walking onto the road

Why do the first years get off the bus at the flagpoles and run the rest of the way in?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,979 ✭✭✭Tea_Bag

    all first years are idiots.

actually, that sounds a bit harsh, but some of the stuff they come out with is hilarious.

I don't mind that. Some physical exercises. Remember those ads from years ago?

Can't understand the students that get the bus across from the Park Hotel to bring them on campus. It be quicker to walk.

    .

Wouldn't mind if they did it for that reason- I get the impression they think it doesn't stop elsewhere on campus
