    Hi all, just thought you might be interested to know that referee Paddy Russell is on The Last Word tonight at 6.45 talking about his career (including Paul Galvin, the battle of Omagh and others). MP3 will be available from the website later on.

    Nobody cares.. he's a not a very nice man! He's an attention grabbing so-and-so! Has anyone else noticed that every last Intercounty Gaa "Scandle" in the past few years has involved Mr. russell. (All mentioned above n need to re-post them). Rubbish Ref, and this latest Galvin thing has completed his book... bit of extra cash. Hate him!

    Yeah Paddy Russell set Galvin up he lured him into it, it was a conspiracy i tell you :rolleyes: Dont kow why anyone can blame Russell for what happened in this incident Galvin was 95% to blame and the linesman was 5% to blame for nitpicking, Russell could only act on what he's linesman had told him??

    Agreed about the personal attacks, and the Galvin incident was in no way his fault.

    What annoys me most is the blatant cash-in on the Galvin incident. There's no way he was planning to write a book before that happened. And his description of the incident as being "degrading"....excessive as far as I'd be concerned.

    Be very careful.If I remember correctly,I banned you a week or two before the AI Final or some time during the Summer.Personal insults and unfounded rumours about GAA players,officials and employees are taken very seriously.

    Read the charter.

    No problem. There is a button on each post, under the user details. It looks like a little red warning sign with a black vertical line. When you click on this you will be asked what the problem in the post is and the moderators will be notified. You should use this for abuse, fighting, spammed adverts etc.
