    Hi!
Can anybody suggest a good curling cream that doesnt make your hair go all hard and sticky? I have mid-length naturally wavy hair if that helps?

I Use a curling cream from boots own brand - its only a few quid and its in a pink tub - its fantastic, really highlights the curls and your hair dosen't look greasy at all..

    Edit: its called essentials

I generally use Label M leave in conditioner. As you said, most curling creams leave hair hard, whereas I find that this conditioner just brings out the wave nicely. It's a bit pricey from Toni and Guy but it does last for ages.

I'm also a big fan of that pink tub from Boots.

    Other recommendations:
Tigi Curls Rock Leave-In Moisturiser - its not cheap and its only in salons but its FAB, makes your hair really soft but defines the curls well. If your hair's only wavy it might not be strong enough though...
Umberto Gianini (something like that) curl gel (not sure exactly what it's called but its the gel not the cream) - gives very good curl definition. Not sticky. If your hair feels a bit 'crunchy' it just means you've used too much, it should feel fine.

Aveda do a great cream for curly hair that you put into wet hair (avoid their one for dry hair - icky) - about €24 for a large tube - but a little goes a long way - no frizzyness at all, just nicely defined bouncy curls

Yup, the pink tub is great.

I must have about 20 different types of expensive curl potions here, some go rock hard and the rest give me an attractive ghetto girl slicked afro look. Found the essentials one in the nick of time!

The only other one I found good (even better than the famous pink tub) was Sunsilks Curls and Waves Serum. I can't get it anywhere anymore, must be discontinued. If anyone spots it in some dusty chemist let me know and I'll bulk buy.

Oh the umberto gianinni "curl friends scrunching jelly" is the only one imo. Put it in when your hair is wet and let it dry to glossy non-crunchy gorgeous curls! Even my fella uses it, though he'd never admit it :pac:
