I am hoping to get to Amsterdam in the next couple weeks.

I know, there are other reasons to go over for :p but is it any good for shopping.

Clothes shopping really. Or is it the same as here / price wise / clothes wise

    Thanks

Amsterdam has in recent years become very much Main Street Anywhere as regards clothes shopping. The main shopping drags of Niewendijk, Kalverstraat and Leidenstraat could almost be Henry Street with all the usual suspects well represented on all of them.

The big department store off Dam Square, De Bijenkorf, could equally be Arnotts or BT. Prices are broadly the same as here.

Its a great city with loads to do but clothes shopping certainly ain't one of them. Now, if it was oversized clogs you wanted...............:D:D

I was in Amsterdam this time last year, there are loads of shopping streets, as stated above it's much like Dublin for shopping but there's sooooo much more interesting things to do over there.. I'd love to go back, it's a great place...
