    Hi folks,
if anyone has any feedback they'd like to give on the Donadea 10K, we'd appreciate you posting it here. All constructive criticism will be taken on board (pardon the pun) to try and make the race the best we can make it.
Thanks to all who came and participated. We, the 10k commmittee, were pleased to have you come and run with us.

Hi Who007, I think I tried to send you feedback via the website, but it didn't seem to work (through the contact us link, rather than the 10k feedback link).

Anyway, here's what I had to say:
Extremely well run event. Signposting from the motorway (M4) was top-class. Didn't need my GPS at all! Next time, though, it might be useful to just provide a Google Maps link to St. Kevins GAA club (For example, like this one). It'll help people figure out which way to go.

Parking was great (in and out in minutes). Registration was top class (many thanks to all the volunteers). Race start went like clockwork. I was near the top of the field though and still couldn't make out what was being said on the bullhorn. Signposting in the forest was really good, with the exception of one of the 10k markers (think it was the 7k), which was out by around 300-400 meters, and confused some of the runners no end, who were pacing by kilometer! Race finish was excellent. Crossed the finish line, and walked straight up and got a bottle of water, which was brilliant (and there seemed to be plenty for everyone).

The forest route was really nice (even if I didn't get to see too much of it!). There was one very muddy/slippy corner (left hand bend), think it was in the first 2kms, which it would probably have been better to fence around, to keep runners on the path. The results were posted within 48 hours, which is great timing for this kind of race (and I'm delighted to see I made the top 10%!). I'm looking forward to the photos that were taken on the day.

All in all, you and the team need to be commended for such a well run event. Any niggles are very minor. It is certainly one of the best run 10Ks I have participated in and I'll be back next year. I can see how increasing the size of the field will be a bit of an issue though, as some of the forest paths won't really accommodate more than the number you had participating this year.

    Congrats!
