A few from last night. Relatively happy with them, probably best I've got since it went dark again.

Oh yeah, I was at a photography club meeting the other night. It's a relatively new thing so we were doing introductions and stuff, and one guy was able to put together who I was from my first name and that I shoot football. :p

    Some great images there.

I especially like the first one.

Here's three of mine from Fri night (horrible conditions).

    Wet night for it.

You plug away at this stuff & most people wont appreciate your effort, because they can't appreciate the conditions.

Someday the sun will shine & you'll get your reward.

The Sun shone in Dalymount today, there was a great family atmohsphere, the Boo boys didnt boo and every where you looked there was a legend, sad to think I will never take a Pic of Hunty again, am sure all you soccer snappers will agree he was one of the best.

And at half time in one of the most bizarre things I have seen at a match Johnny Logan emerged from the Tunnel and sang "Hold Me Now"

Some great shots, Ray 1 and 2 are excellent very well captured and timed. Great goal celebration Paul in what looks like the same conditions as I had working on Friday morning. Dodgy, a bit surreal seeing Johnny Logan in a football shirt singing hold me now!! Was the last game work for a local paper Paul?

Kevin Hunt is one of the best players ever to ply his trade in Ireland!
He is an absolute gent to boot!
I wish him the very best for his future & hope his family issues have a happy resolution.
It's a great pity that he is leaving our league, but he has his priorities in the right order.

    Thanks for the memories Kev.

Agreed, it has been a pleasure to have seen him perform even if he was with a rival club. Don;t think there is one football supporter who would have a bad word to say about Kevin.

Caught this one yesterday and in the full version you can read the detail on the coin.

If you click on any pict, you will go to the FlickR page, where you can click on "more properties" and see the exact settings and equipment used, or check my website. Both FlickR and my website will show ISO, shutter speed, aperture and equipment used.

    Not always. :D

The Sporting Fingal Images were mostly 1D MkIII with 300mm f/2.8, some were with 40D and 70-200mm f/2.8, and the local football images were all 1D MkIII with 70-200mm f/2.8.
