I posted this in another thread but thought it was worthy of its own.

Do many guys go to salons?

I used to only ever go to a barbers, but while away i went into a kind of 'unisex' salon, as in, the stylist people were the kind you'd get in a peter mark but the actually premises was very neutral, not barbery but not intense like PM or T&G.

For instance, i wouldn't feel comfortable in a peter mark because usually there's not a single man in the place! Plus i don't want to get raped with the price. In the salon i used it was only $25. And i was much happier with the outcome.

So, do you guys go? and where do you go?

I'm in desperate need of a haircut, but really am not thrilled going back to your basic run of the mill, short back and sides barber.

Where do you go? (for men) 3 votes

if you go to a good barber you'll get a good cut on the cheap. the last time my hair was cut by a woman it was a disaster.
a good barber will be able to do far more than the regular short back and sides

yeah you can get a decent barber. The place I go is a cut above the ****holes like "just cuts".... it's 16 euro I think for a dry cut, and you can get it washed also for 20.

Every now and again I'll go to a proper salon and fork out the cash when I can't afford for a haircut to go wrong as there will be plenty of pics taken or whatever! (before a wedding, birthday, night out, whatever)

I hate that crap by the way that you're not a "real" man if you go to a salon. ha! I guarantee I'll get more (and better looking) birds than you with your man united jersey and jarhead cut!
