The 3 pins you are referring to go into a scart adapter and then into a scart slot in your TV. ;)

That three pin cable is a SCART cable, red, yellow and white. Those other two connections are audio only cable jacks don't put them in there.

You may need a SCART block, the three cables go into that then that plugs into the TV, its like a rectangular connection with a angular notch sticking out of it.

Yes, but secondhand cannot be guaranteed.

    That is what you need.

Would they be sold in Xtra-Vision ??

AFAIK Xtravision do sell them but could be expensive. Most places that sell TV's will have them and Argos do aswell from what I remember.

    Any idea how much ??

€5 would be my guess. I wouldn't spend more than €10 on one unless I had to.

What colour are the connections on your tv? There could be one foe the yellow one(video) and one of the red or white ones . If your tv is a newish one you might have options for component or hdmi which would give you a far superior high definition picture.

throw away your telly and scart, get a hd telly and hdmi lead, otherwise your not doing your ps3 justice !

    :D

you will probably be better off getting a real scart cable instead of a scart block. You'll get much better picture quality and it will only be a tiny bit more expensive than using the dreadful red yellow white conectors in a scart block.
