Dell 640m touchpad scroller bar function stopped working!

the mouse scroller that is on my mouse touchpad has just stopped working. before id tap it and be able to scroll down through pages but now nothing happens. the same when i try moving from left to right. i dont think any settings have changed anyone know how to fix this?

Go onto the dell site and go into the support section and download the synaptics touchpad driver and install that and see if that sorts it out.

thanks this worked a treat though after my IE would not connect??
