Hi all, I applied for a job there on www.publicjobs.ie yesterday. the closing date was this morning. When I applied yesterday I went into the "My Jobs" section to track my application and it said "Status: Submitted". I checked again today and "Status" is now "closed". Does that mean I didn't get it and won't get called for…

Hi all,
I applied for a job there on www.publicjobs.ie yesterday.

I checked again today and "Status" is now "closed".
Does that mean I didn't get it and won't get called for an interview?
Don't I even get a PFO email? (I did last time but that was a different department".

No your ok it just means the comp is closed thats all.
