eSATA to eSATA problems

    I tried to connect my Freeagent eSATA to my Asus P5B Deluxe...
    well after having to update my bios and loading an new JBmicron driver I still have problems..

    XP now sees the drive and can read the folders, but whenever I try to read or writs any significant data it just hangs up...the drive that is.

    I've read that some eSATA cables can cause problems..
    I got mine from Kompette with the Freeagent drive.. cost €10

    Could the cable be causing the intermittant problems?

    Anyoone care to recommend a high quality cable that they got to work?
