I had one today, somehow felt very tired when running a treadmill and didn't want to train at all, left the gym all pissed, on one hand I don't feel like exercising on the other I feel like I've missed out on something.

Do you guys have such situations? I hate them, and I have this type of a thing atleast once a week.

Aye, some days your energy levels just give out on ya, or you're just not in the mood... depends on the day, but I feel its better to wrap it up and save it for the next day instead.

At least you went, and did something. You could've sat on your arse and watched TV, but you went and did a bit. Don't feel too bad about it; make up for it tomorrow.

Yeah, i hate these days. You go in, get changed, after 10 minutes you realise your heart isnt really in it today, after 20 you say enough and just head home pi$$ed off.

But you always make up for it the next day,:D

I cant even make it to the gym because I'm so lazy never mind off days I'm getting fatter by the day, with no fitness!

Some days i'm just not able to do 20 mins. Others i could be there for 2 hours. Everyone has their ups and downs. Don't let it frustrate ye.

    Some days it just happens.

From personal experience, I have found that a cup of sugary coffee on the way to the gym makes it a lot less likely to happen though. I think it could a mental thing, but It gives me that little extra boost to get through the first 10 minutes, which are always the hard part.

God, its good to hear that others have those days too. I thought it was to do with me being a lardy ass noob. I have days when it feels like my legs are filled with lead, and I think Im back to square one. I had wondered if it was to do with nutrition, I always run better the morning after a feed of something carb laden. :)

    God yeah it happens.

But after a while you get to know when they're "This is my body's way of telling me to slow down" versus "I need to stfu and get my lazy backside into gear" days. When you're genuinely tired don't be afraid to step back, feed up, erst well and start anew. There's peaks and troughs to everyone's training, roll with it and keep putting the effort in and it'll be fine.

every few weeks i have one day where i'm sitting during a rest from a set and yawning to beat the band, i tell myself to push through and that these days are the days you have to stick to it the most but sometimes i just get all my **** and go home early

and days where i'm lifting and i'm as weak as a baby, i just leave, and come up the next day after having loads of energy foods like fruit

off days, I was having one of them yesterday. But I pulled my heavy ars** out of the bed at 7am feeling as if I wanted to die never mind left weights over and over again, got my first meal in and on the way to the gym I knock back a serving of Explode and then happy days. But there is nothing like the off days, you just have to get stuck in and get on with it. Feel the pain and all that.

It's true that if you make it through an off-day with a half-decent workout, you feel invincible for the week. It's great to get it done.
