    has anyone any idea where there is a shop that sells home cinema projectors and where you could get a demo...

    went to a few places in galway and no luck

    currys doesnt even sell them???

    looking for 1080p models like the x10 or 720p like the x9

    you're probably right, don't have the leaflet handy to confirm.

    Does it have to be Galway? Dublin no use???

    There is a place called Sight & Sound in Clonskeagh - couple of mins away from city centre. www.sightandsound.ie

    Hey Whoops,

    The projector Lidl were selling is not a Home Theatre projector. It has resolution of XGA, and 600:1 contrast two of the many things making it a business/education projector and not suitable for Home Theatre. A little bit of false advertising on Lidl's part.
