Pay & display in Malahide DART - how long???

    I left my car in Malahide train station last night because I had a few glasses of vino (why not it was a Wednesday!) When I went to collect it today I was clamped, it cost me €125 :eek: I am smashed at the mo & really could do without that, the de-clamper man said to write to appeals & say I didn't know it was Pay & Display (which I didn't) - does anyone know when this P&D came into play in Malahide train station??

    Should have been 1st of September for all stations on the Northern line. There should be signs up stating that its pay and display. If there isn't then you have a case.

    Good luck in getting that back! It took me 6 months to get my money back after parking right outside my door in the Marina. Had phoned the company and applied for a resident's parking ticket and they said my car was safe until it arrived. Well it wasn't, they clamped it and after arguing with the clamper (yeah really going to get nowhere there anyway) and the company, it took me 6 months to finally get it back after hounding them every few days. It was the principle of it in the end, they make it so difficult.

    So good luck with that! It does say Pay and Display in the station though I think so not sure you'll have much of a case to be honest.
