    I am reposting this thread as there have been some changes to the festival.

    1st you must open an account with Bruce Poker to play in any of the games. In addition to this you must lodge a min of $50 to play in the €5000 freerole on the Sunday and to be in for the raffle draw to win the trips to Las Vegas and the Man Utd Champions League game.

    We have increased the starting chips and rebuys chips on the Friday game from 3k to 5k and from 5k to 7k respectively, there will be no early bird!

    We have added another game on Sunday night which now makes the whole festival a European Ranking Event, the Sunday evening game will be a €120 freezeout (€105 & €15 Reg) with 10k starting stack and 20 Min Blinds.

    We have also put a cap on each event and the feedback at the moment is all four games will be sold out in advance. To avoid disappointment you can register for the Main Event now on www.BrucePoker.com

    The Caps are as Follows;

    Friday = 200
    Saturday = 250
    Sunday Freerole = 400

    Is the 5k and 2.5k trip added irrespective of the number of players? i.e. if it sells out will the prize pool including the added be €62,500? (220*250 + 5k +2.5k).

    Either way I am interested but might not be able to play sadly as I have a wedding to go to on the Friday dammit.

    Hey Dom,

    The 2 trips to Vegas and the trip to the Man Utd Champions League game are added irrespective of how many players turn up, Bruce Poker will be running a raffle each night. To be in the raffle you must;

    A: Have deposited at least $50

    B: Have bought into the tournament that day.

    The only way the €5,000 won't be added is if there is an overlay of more than €5,000 but to be honest that doesn't look like it will be a problem as all of these events look like they are going to sell out.

    E.G. If the €250 game only has 40 runners (220*40) the prize pool is €8,800 which is less than the guarantee so €25,000 will be paid out.

    If there is 100 players and the Prize Pool is €22,000, than €27,000 will be paid out.

    If there is the full 250 players than €60,000 will be paid out (€5,000 + 250*€220)

    Hope this clears things up.

    Hey Guys,

    I was playing at the IPO yesterday and just about everyone I spoke to said that they were all going to be playing this game.

    My best advice for everyone is to register for this now as it will SELL OUT.

    Bruce have also open reg for the side events on there site so might be idea to reg for them also if you want to play them.

    Good luck to everyone left in the IPO today...

    JP poker is running the event for BRUCEPOKER and it should not impede paul from playing in any event on the wk end of the launch , but i think he will be a bit busy to play as he will most probably be running around making sure every1 is well looked after and have nothing to moan about like who should and should not be playing .
    Is it ok if Nikki Power plays ?

    the sportsbook account is linked to the poker account. you deposit through the sportsbook then transfer to poker when you want to play, if you want to register/pay entry to the festival theres no need to transfer sports to poker . Just go to the brucepoker home page and the registration link is on the right hand of the page.

    Paul is in Hungry so don't take it as given but as far as I know; If your still in the main event ( which you probably will be the way your playing ) the Sunday buy in will be refunded. I'm almost certain that cashes in tournaments through the festival will be paid on the day in person.

    Hey Adam,

    To be guaranteed your seat it's best that you register online for this. My guess is that we will have approx 350 players. The lads at Bruce are fairly certain that it will be sold out.

    Besides you need to open an acc with Brucepoker.com to play any of the games during the festival and also need to have made a min deposit of $50 to play the freerole on the Sunday and to be in the raffle draws for the trips to Vegas and Man Utd game.
