most of the time, especially in a pub, they are referred to as 'lucky'.

I dont have a great sense of smell.. sometimes i dont notice a smelly nappy, that kind of thing!!

Right then that's that puzzler answered, time for another one. This probably belongs in the Legal Discussion Forum but Pigheads a renegade so he'll ask it here.

Imagine for a moment if you will, that Pighead and Beruthial were siamese twins.(her upper half and Pigheads lower half being the dream scenario with Pighead preferably having full control of at least one of the hands)

Ok, now imagine Beruthial was stressed out to the max and she was agitated and annoyed with the surgeon who refused to perform the operation to split her and Pigheads bodies apart thus freeing her from years of claustrophbia, bullying and touching up.

Now imagine the surgeon called around to Berutheads cosy one bedroomed flat to explain his reasons why the operation could never happen and whilst in midflow Beruthial pulled out a handgun from her handbag and shot the poor fellow square between the eyes rendering him immediately dead. Pighead who had been sleeping all afternoon awakes with a start to see a cackling Beruthial and a dead surgeon.

Question is if this went to court and Beruthial was charged with murder would they still send her to jail even though Pighead had absolutely nothing to do with the horrible murder or would they have to let her off in the interests of fairness to her other half?

I'm trying here but you're making it hard to maintain my suspension of disbelief.

Probably should have explained that better but the thoughts of being siamesed with Beruthial meant the words just came flooding out with a fervour that probably lacked proper explanations.

Basically the whole being would involve:2 Heads- Beruthials and Pigheads. 1 Body: Upper from waist to neck= Beruthials (including all bits and bobs) From waist down to feet= Pigheads (including all bits and bobs)

Not exactly sure of the mechanics of the whole siamese scenario but in Pigheads head he has full licence to roam each and every inch of the body.(Apart from that annoying part of your back that gets itchy and you cannever reach it)

Well this was an important question. You see, if you could feel everything but were “asleep” then you would go to jail with her because you would have woke up with her moving to get the gun!

Look on the bright side though, as Beruthiel pulled the trigger ye'd be sent to the women's prison, where you could get it on with the scissor sisters - I'm sure they might help with the separation/2 heads thing too...

I think its on a case by case basis, depending on what organs are shared / where they are joined. If they can't be seperated then I reckon Pighead would be fcuked or else have to lug around a decomposing half corpse for a number of weeks which would play havoc his chances with the ladies.

Seriously speaking Actus Reus is unlawful killing - Mens Rea is Intent (to kill unlawfully). of these -the monster- beruthial, is clearly guilty... but pighead is not.

If these twins did not share consciousness (if they had own individual thoughts and slept seperately etc) then there is no way pighead could be held responsible - he could not have possessed the Mens Rea...
Also, if he did not exercise control over the arm used to fire - he could not have committed the AR.

So Pighead is innocent - and it is illegal to incarcerate somebody who is not guilty of a crime (in this context).

So what the court would do - as they did In The People (DPP) -v- Yongchaihud - another case sharing exactly this fact pattern - is construct a small prison-cell-type hat, which is worn by the offending conjoined twin.

In this manner, the guilty twin is imprisonned in a tiny wee prison whilst the other is free to go about their daily business. Naturally any part of the shared body which is under control of the murderous twin must be constrained at all times so that they might not be able to interact with the outer world...

No, go cut throat instead! How could it proved who did what when there's no distinguishable evidence or testimony? You'd never get enough evidence to convict if both are blaming each other.

Seeing as you have a head, and therefore a conscience, you could have stopped her(but Beruthiel being Beruthiel that would have been difficult).

Because you didn't, you may be seen as an accomplice.

The real question from ALL of this thread is this: IF Pighead was siamesed with Beruthiel, who happened to be asleep and him awake...would Pighead be done for sexual assault/harassment or the case thrown out ? :P
