Remind me again, was Harvey Dent this guy's son or nephew?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 817 ✭✭✭Burial

Son. He was humiliated by his fathers actions so he wanted to restore the family pride. Quite ironic how they both died falling off a building...

Just found this from the wiki:

According to commentary from the movie's DVD release, Alan Rickman's surprise when Gruber is dropped from the building is genuine: the director chose to release Rickman a full second before he expected it in order to get genuine surprise, a move which angered Rickman. The text commentary track also reveals that the shooting script did not originally feature the meeting between McClane and Gruber pretending to be a hostage; it was only written in when it was discovered that Rickman could do an American accent.

    cool!

    cool!

Actor can do accent - who'd have imagined such a thing?

Hey, does anyone recall a scene in one of the first Die-Hards where two Germans are speaking and they come up with what sounds like the following:

    "Manogga manook"
    "Angry child!"

Just thought I'd ask. Been puzzling me for about 15 years.
