Anyone play in Liverpool and could recommend a casino? Do yo need to join in advance or can you do it on the night.

There are a few on the net but they don't mention cash games, only house games.

    Ta.

If you've got access to a car, head over to Manchester, it's only about a 45-60 minute drive away. There are 4 Grosvenor casino there but the one I found to be best for poker is the one on the New Bury Road

I'm fairly sure they got rid of that advance regualion in the UK, so you should be ok.

The circus casino at the bottom of Queens Sq seems to have fairly regular tournaments with the odd cash game going.Ther's also a place called Rileys just past Lime St (going towards Mount Pleasant) althought there never really seems to be much life in it.

Ya, the Wigan game Dom. Try to get over once or twice a year. Course we are staying for three nights just in case we miss anything :)

Thanks for all the info lads.

I was in the G casino in manchester and the charge was £5((7euro) per hour

Is this the usual charge in england(seems a bit pricy)

A lot of field outings for a married man Careca. First i meet you in Leopardstown betting, drinking and living it up and now this, i like your style. Lot of pussies on here constanly talking about needing permission slips but not you. Nice to see a boardsie wear the trousers in a relationship and making no apologies about it.

I thought that I only paid £3 an hour when I was in the New Bury Road one but maybe it was £5, either way, I don't think that it's too bad. In most casinos here you will pay €8. The only difference is that here it is raked from the pot (and therefore you don't notice it as much) whereas in England they come to the table and collect a few quid off everyone on the hour every hour
