The LowerState crew return for another once-off gig on Fri Oct 24th, selecting a fresh new European act to headline the night - filmmaker, dj and producer: Erwan Castex AKA Rone. With a sound that could easily be confused as so very Border Community and typically Dial, this young Parisian is heading skyward with his own brand of live melodic experimental electronica. His first 12" - Bora - released earlier this year on Parisian label InFiné (think Apparat, Danton Eeprom...) has made it's way into the record bags of Ellen Allien, Laurent Garnier, Lawrence, Ripperton, James Holden and Sebo K among others, and has featured on mix CDs the world over. His first album is set for release this winter.

This gig sees LowerState heads RoryD & Pete reach their first anniversary of upfront electronic music, hosting acts such as Chymera, Donnacha Costello, Format:B, Sian, Fairmont, Yapacc, Pantha du Prince and Daso and promoting the resurgence of electronic music in Galway. Rone's appearance in De Burgo's on Fri Oct 24th will see him debut his new live set on Irish shores - fresh after supporting Agoria in Rex club Paris. Warmup is from LowerState bleep-maestro Audiofeen and kicks off at 10.30pm with doors €10. This is LowerState's last gig before Christmas
