If you had to kill somebody

And somehow you were given this choice, which option would you take. Think about it for a second before you answer.

10 years in prison, but during those 10 years you are completely free from any feelings of guilt or regret

Or

No prison but for the next 10 years you feeling the most terrible guilt

This is obviously a completely hypothetical question, so don't reply saying I wouldn't kill somebody, or I couldn't possibly not feel guilty.

If it wasnt for the law and the fear of incarceration,i would've killed dozens of people by now.
I could live with the guilt just fine.

Man hasn't been around since the dawn of time, just to be pedantic. Moral standards are culturally relative, there have been many civilisations which had different standards to ours regarding killing other people, and many which had similar standards to todays. The point is moot anyway as the fact is that I am talking about this society in the question, where the fact is that there are very clear standards on this matter.

best thing to do is run them down with a car then have a stiff drink , back in the streets far quicker

if you are worried about taking a life you could always donate a some cash to a charity to save a life in africa , won't cost too muc
