A bit silly folks,:o:o but can someone tell me how to resize photos I want to send as attachments. My P.C has Windows Vista Premium. Or how is best to edit photos. My average siz is abt 3megs. I shoot in Large jpeg on my 400d. should I go to Medium setting? The local newspaper prints most of what I send them, usually a match report and an action shot or team photo. Thanks in advance.

    Download picasa (picasa.google.com)

It's really easy to use, then when you want to resize a picture, just hit export at the bottom and on the next dialog under 'resize' select the new size in pixels.

Right click on the saved picture file and go for resize picture (small, medium, large etc)

    EDIT
Shoot in RAW if you want maximum control when post processing or if you dont DO post processing, then shoot in Larege, Fine

You can always downsize a photo, cant upscale (well you can, but its not the same :P)

There should be something like picture manager in your system - righl click and "Open with..." and select the program. It will allow you to do basic corrections, crop and resizing.
