I have slapped it up on a sitewide announcement. I didnt want to do that before because the deadline had past and I didnt want to lumber you with more work if you were already in layout phase! Given the extension, I've tried to assist you guys to get the slackers in

I'm surprised a few of these people haven't submiited anything, from Fenster's blog I'd say he's been very busy as he's moved house and had other crap going on, so that may explain his delay.

Anyone have e-mail addys or mobile numbers they could drop a txt to for a couple of the regulars on this list that just havenm't posted lately like Fenster and Valentia?

Valentia contacted me, however he had few ribs removed and said that he won't be able to submit the picture he would like to see in the book.

Everybody who is in the list above (apart me) got PM in the morning as a reminder including information about the deadline.

Well to be fair, I don't think anyone can begrudge ThOnda wanting to put his image wherever he likes, he has put a huge amount of work into this. He just better not play it too cool and miss the deadline!

I just cannot find any picture that could go to the book. But I promise to go through all my scans tomorrow in the morning. Maybe I can find there some picture that could represent me and those two wonderful years I have spent here in Ireland. And on Boards.ie.

And talking about submitting a picture into the book, please, read few posts backwards (timewise), it had been mentioned there and we encuraged people to take part in this project. We have exceeded price level of 80 pages, therefore pictures up to amount of 118 (as far as I remember) won't increase price of the book.

And about the time and effort, it wasn't so bad. The worst part was to think in advance what should be the time line of each step in creating the book. And to create all those boring threads :-) The book is almost finished thanks to all people who spent their free time in reading all discussions, sharing their knowledge, ideas and experience. And your willingness to tolerate my English and typos - yes, not all mistakes were based on grammar basis.

Can you submit any type of photo? I'm really stumped at what to add. I was thinking of a photo from Eagles Flying here in Sligo, because I love that place:D do you think that would be OK?

Well, I think that only limits about he pictures are to have picture within social limits of public graphical production. Eagles should be fine, unless they are not tattood on somebody's bare ar$e

Please follow the instructions given to you by ThOnda when submitting your photo. Entries are limited to one per person, it is up to you to decide what photo you want to use. Images at 40KB in size are of no use. They should be of the order 2638 X 1884 at 300DPI.

There was a question if we could extend the period for submitting pictures.

Personally, I am not in favour of that. Solstice won't wait either. Two month for one book is more than enough. Don't you think?
