Online Table Maintanence

Quite possibly a stupid question but I've seen this happen a bit on ipoker. A message appears from the poker skin saying that after the current hand, the table will be close for table maintanence. Exactly what kind of maintanence is required?

Something is not right here. Who are you and how did you hack into CHD's A/c - I mentioned ipoker in the OP and you didn't say that they must die......

I've seen this on other sites too. It probably just meant that their software leaks like a sieve and they have to restart the server the table is hosted on.

maybe they stop the table to fix their bugs? not sure if there are any bugs on ipoker though.
