I've seen this bus coming down by Kilmacud luas station towards the Beacon hotel, but the route is officially down by sandyford road. Does anyone who takes this route regularly know if it has changed or is it temporary? (As it'd be handy for me to go by the Beacon).

It is temporary while Sandyford Road is being rebuilt.

The 44, 44B and 44C are diverted outbound via Overend Way (at Balally LUAS), Kilmacud Road Upper, the Link Road via Kilmacud LUAS, and Blackthorn Drive returning to the normal route at the Central Bank.

The 116 is diverted inbound via Overend Way (at Balally LUAS), Kilmacud Road Upper, the Link Road via Kilmacud LUAS, and Blackthorn Drive.

This is due to the massive roadworks on Sandyford Road that are still ongoing!
