Dublin Based Covers Band

I am a 29 year old female drummer who has previously gigged with a covers band for 3 years and I am now looking to set up my own covers band with intention to do gigs around Dublin. No cheesy songs! Good crowd pleaser tunes and a wide range of stuff from funky soul to pop, rock/indie stuff.
No timewasters please!

it wouldnt be a full time band as others have day jobs so it would hopefully be one or two gigs at weekends, as many as we can get really! realistically, it usually works out at about 4 or 5 gigs a month....its just for fun........but will still be working to make it a decent band!

How often to do want to gig / rehearse? When are you hoping to get this off the ground? Do you have any contacts for booking gigs?

want to set up decent pub covers band doing good songs (nothing cheesey!) Plan on rehearsing once a week and get as many gigs as possible. Have some contacts. Plan on gettting first practice session together next week

I am 30yo lead singer/rythm guitarist.. I have played and gigged for 10years now. Was in 3bands, and gigged bith as a 2piece and solo doing mostly everything but do alot of stuff like,Pearl Jam,Soundgarden,Audioslave,R.A.T.M,Metallica,R.H.C.P,etc.... Checkl my videos out on youtube, search edvedd
They are all 1take raw videos and i wanted to see what reaction i would get, found it was pretty ok..

Will sing - but more in the hard rock genre. I can play keys too. 7 years in a rock covers band as keys and backing/lead vocals. Classical trumpet, clarinet and violin before that. AC/DC a speciality when it comes to vocals. PM me if you want.
