hey hope you lads can help i gots me a problem!!

i took off the trigger gaurd on my m14 today following the manual. it was to fix a problem with the fuse being in the way of the battery i then tried to reassemble the stock and top which went fine and the trigger gaurd clicked back in but one part has to be rotated back and into the stock. this will not go back and usually springs out if i try to complete the reassembly. even if it does stay it pops back out from any small vibration firing or pulling the charging handle.

    please help:(:(

I think i know what ya mean, its happens when the gun isnt sitting in the stock assembly properly., fit the trigger gaurd onto the gun without the stock to see how it fits and to make sure it hasnt bent from previous attempts.,

    i got it!!

thanks for the help vtec and magnum but i figured it out last night.
it was a real duh smack head moment when i figured it out it just needed a little black tape tab to jam it in while keeping it able tocome back out.

if anyone has problems like mine i can post up pics maybe if your desperate and guide ya through it
