    Hi lads,

Im interested in building my own rack mount gear as a project in the next few months and i've stumbled across JLM Audio and Seventh Circle Audio. I especally like the JLM BA2 thats based on Neve.

Does anyone know any other good pro audio sites for good gear at resonable price?

On my search for something at a much more affordable level for electret capsules I found this outfit. Not budget by any means but one to include in your own search.

Slightly OT, electret capsules are available in Peats for €0.44 each, you need to solder a capacitor and a 9v battery onto them and off you go.

    Have a look at http://www.prodigy-pro.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3

There's a Great River MP-2 been developed as a kit.

    Thanks,
    LK.

not much use without the pcb layout I'd have thought.

Hell yeah! Bit of old iron resonating away in there. That front end one is a Jensen, easier diy build no? Not sure about the output trafo.

    No power supply there though!
