    Hi guys,

Went to good sports physio (recommended by a lot of people here) in town 2 weeks ago (going back tonight), and was diagnosed with scapula dyskinesia glenoid labrum. I don't want any advise, but just wanted to see if anyone had something similar here and what was the recovery time.

I've had this clicking and on/off pain in my shoulder for 2 yrs now. Been to other physio, osteopath and accupuncture but no use. This physio thinks it's a mechanical issue regarding my scapula and gave me exercises to do (which I did over the last 2 weeks). She felt it should clear up in about 3 weeks or so. I feel my shoulder has improved a little over the last two weeks, but not as much as I'd like, and still clicking.

Again, not looking for medical advise, as going back to the physio tonight and will query things again with her, but just wanted to see if anyone had something similar / experience in this and how long it may take for the shoulder joint to be working correctly again.

Just feeling frustrated with it. Thanks,

    Simon

Not exactly what I was hoping to hear :(
Presume you've been to physio, done the ex's etc, and it just doesn't heal up? I've had mine 2.5yrs, maybe I should start accepting I'm stuck with it. I'll see what the physio says this evening. Anything in particular that maybe I should ask her?

    Tks

I still get the clicking in the right soulder when doing 360 arm swings, doesn't cause me any discomfort at all though.

L T W & Y - are different exercises for helping the condition. Yes I've been to/am going to physios about it. I should clarify though that mine was caused by tearing some of the cartiledge and fascia in the back of my shoulder which ain't never coming back so maybe my situation is different to yours.

I know the various exercises do help me a bit though - the trick is to keep doing them even after my symptoms have damped down a bit.
