Best type of feather duvet?

Not sure where to put this ...

But I've always wanted a good feather duvet, and now that the winter is coming and my old duvet has been pee'd on by a cat, I'd love to go out and spend a bit on a king sized feather duvet.

Now can anyone tell me the difference between duck/goose/down/feather bed sets? And can anyone recommend a brand or type that might last?

Prices I've seen vary from 80 euro to 450! Help!

Not sure about the duck/goose/down/feather thing..very confusing but I can recommend TK Maxx as a good place to buy one for a reasonable price.

Honestly I have a Penneys Goose feather king size Duvet and I'm sure it was less then €50, very comfy too.
