iQon laptop problem

    My friend iqon laptop model number m66je is fecked. Its hard drive seems to be the problem and probally needs to be replaced.I cant access the recovery partition so i have no access to the drivers and stuff to repair it. Ive emailed iqon about getting a cd with them on it but have gotten no reply from them and iam not paying €1.75 a min for out of warenty support.Anyone have any ideas on what to do. Ive tried loading vista on to it from another cd i had since i have a valid product key for the iqon laptop but it only goes half way and gives an error code 0x8007045d which seems to be looing for a chipset driver.

    Any help would be great.

    even if you do manage to access the reocovery partition - on most Iqons it does not work properly...

    Iqon went bust for a reason - the product quality was fit for the sewer.
