Hotch*Potch New bi weekly sat 11 oct Mcgruders

04-10-2008 8:37pm#1Hotch*Potch is a new saturday bi-weekly beginning October 11th in McGruders of Thomas Street. It will cater for all types of electronic variance with stages hosted by some of dublins most respected promoters. It kicks off with Platform:eire, (formerly mishmash), taking on the mainstage with Scott Logan and Paudi Ahern.
Next door on the Multi-Funktion stage will be techno heroes Jeff Walters and Eddie Brennan allowing us to suckle on the drip of their decks, while in the back room we have some beat-boxing styles from Tru-Rap residents.
To cater for one and all, the downstairs bar will provide an escape from the nether region shaking force of the new soundsystems upstairs, by allowing you to gently nod your hod in appreciation to some of Dublins best rock acts. Murder Of Crows and New Secret Weapon are few among many.
Outside in the beer garden will be Wii competitions and prizes played on the big screen, whilst the bar will host games and promotions to keep in the spirit of the night.
This new night will run into the Cityfest Oct 25th/26th and from there bi-weekly once more on Nov 8th, details of which to be announced.
