    Hey!
I'm a student so I definately can't afford to get highlights done professionally...

How much would it cost to do it myself at home?
Does it work?? Is there a high chance of my hair coming out orange?
    What pack should I use?

    Thanks:D

There is a highlighting kit called smart its cost about 13 euro but you get everything in it, the cap and the hook which make the highlights even and then the colour and conditioner. You will find it in a chemist,Just read the side of the box and it will tell you what colour will work well on your hair colour,if you have not coloured your before stick to the time it says to develop because unlike other brands this one works.

If your hair is dark there's every chance of it coming out orange - it can be difficult to gauge the thickness of the highlights and distance between them too when you're doing it yourself.
My advice is to phone around local salons and ask when they have classes on. They're always looking for models to practice on, and you'll get your highlights for half price :)

    DO NOT DO IT!!!

I know someone who tried to die their hair before and it came out a mix of pure white and then several shades of orange.

If you can't afford to get them done professionally, then don't bother. If you **** up putting the highlights in, it'll be costly enough to repair the hair (unless you just shave it all off)
