Thermonuclear war? Anthrax scares? Nerve gas? Dirty bombs? Bah! Humbug! I have the picture of the ultimate weapon of mass distraction! And if you don't believe me, ask any Democratic party member in the US, while they cower in their voting booths. "The horror, the horror" (line from "Apocalypse Now" film)!

does anyone recall the scene from The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) where

Charles Dreyfus (evil mastermind trying to get Clouseau killed)
having been struck on the foot by his own "doomsday weapon"
begans the slowly disappear
first his legs as he managers to walk over to play his harpsacord anyway
then his torso disappears
then finally all that remains is his twitching winking eye
that also goes
and Charles Dreyfus is no more.
