I am involved in a youth organisation and we are currently looking for a director for a one act play for amateur actors. We hope to take part in a one act competition in early March, and if we win this competition we will go on to the next stages until May. Our group has had a great few years getting to all ireland semi final level in 2006 and going on to All ireland level in 2007. All actors are in their 20s and are very willing to learn, with most of them having some experience of the stage, and living in the Glanmire area. We haven't chosen the play yet but will be over the next few weeks.
If you think this is something that you would be interested in please email me back and we can have a chat. It would be an exciting opportunity for a budding young director and would look great on your CV of course!
