Help needed with CV

I'm thinking about moving job soon and try and get a permanent roll. My current roll is going down hill dramatically and so is the company I work in. Currently I'm a contracting through my own limited company and have been for the pass 2 or 3 years.

Over that period I have have several contracts, some good , some bad and all through shitty agencies.

I moved to Germany over a year ago and I need to know what I should put on my cv regarding the past few years. I'd rather not put all those clients down as it looks really bad and that I was a job hopper.

    Any suggestions ?

Depends on the type of work you were doing. Could it be classed as consultancy? Different companies can mean different environments and wider horizons so it may not necessarily be all bad.

If the roles were similar with numerous clients I don't see a major problem in leaving a couple of them out.

Thanks , what about dates and locations of the clients ?

People often don't put locations, but if you've been working abroad it could be good as it shows international exposure. You can always keep it vague and just put the country.

In terms of the multiple clients, you could probably put one 'job' heading then detail the different clients below, as if they were all a part of one employment (which they were in a way). I wouldn't worry about putting them all in, or putting specific dates for each.

    I had a similar issue

I left one job, worked in Oz for a while contracting and then there was a break of 6 months, came home worked for 1 year for a company and then moved again to another one, 1 year and then moved country...

I just structured the CV whereby I put in the months and location, and if it came up talked around it.

If you are a contracting, you can put down that you were self employed contracter dealing with multiple clients over a period of X, some of the clients include a, b, & c....

If they ask you, you can detail it anyways...
