Bioshock aint bad. Played through it tonight. Decentish conversion and 1080p support , though I suspect another 720p upscale which is really around 960x1080 in the framebuffer thanks to the ps3 sucky scalar which only handles vertical scaling then it's stretched to 1920x1080 at display time. (also why cod4 720p looks better than socalled 1080p). No way is this native 1080p. Also lots of jaggies so no AA as per most unreal3 engine games. Poor texture filtering too. And FOV is wrong. No mouse support is a bummer too. Actually the conversion sucks now that I think about it.

Downloaded BioShock last night ( took six hours :eek: ) but I have not had a chance to play it yet , downloading BIA : Hells Highway from the US store at the moment.

I'm really liking bioshock. The graphics look a bit dated in my opinion but it's got a great atmosphere. I'm definately buying the full game.
I also downloaded the Brothers In Arms demo, load of crap.

i downloaded the pes demo and so far i am lovin it, less arcadey than fifa, i think i prefer it to fifa!

Well it is the Unreal3 engine which is one of the newest engines out there. Besides Crysis there hasn't been much to better it in the graphics department. You should see it on a PC at 2500x1600 with 24X AA and 16X AF. Sublime. I think it's the pants PS3 1080p upscaling/conversion and low res textures are to blame for the "graphics look a bit dated" feel. Still a good game though.

PES is still pants - Players run like greyhounds. You can still do the run to the wing and then in around behind the defence with it.

Well most on the pro ev forum are saying it's slower and it's harder to do that sort of thing.

I can't do that with Liverpool vs United though (top player), but there isnt really speed demons on the liverpool team I suppose.

Didn't check for Babel but im pretty sure Torres speed is less than 90, whether thats right or wrong it means he isn't that fast in the game

Well both are fast in real life, but play against someone decent and I'd say you wont be able to do go down the wings as much as you would in 08 which I'm happy about:D
