haven't heard any of the Irish guys goin anywhere for next year........the swedish guy, if i remember the commentary guys saying it, was on trail or something like that for the TOI , so i think that is why he performed so well

On trial for a team in its last race, owie!

Seriously tho, we've heard Power is retiring, which is terrible, what about O'Loughlin?

Well .. I did speak to Magnus Backstedt back during the TOI and asked him about the rider of Pezula, he said that some of the riders had been training with Garmin throughout the year for *internships* ... maybe some of them might go there?? O'Loughlin Maybe?

God that'd be awesome, guess we'll have to wait and see but it'd be a disgrace to hear O'Loughlin hasn't got a decent team.

o loughlin had a team but the owners of the team which are related to him shafted all of the team less than a year into a three year sponsorship, which by co incidence was just after a certain rider got absolutely nowhere at the olympics

As far as I know they stopped paying riders in June (before the Olympics).

Power has retired (a travesty and a tragedy)
O Loughlin is with An Post
Cameron Jennings is with Budget forklift in Australia (a good team)
Derek Burke is back as an amateur
Alex Weatherall is riding for Backsteads new teamCyclesport.se - MagnusMaximusCoffee.com
Frederic Ericcson is riding for Team Capinordic

The rest are all back as amateurs or retired. I know more details about the break up of the team but don't want to go into it. Safe to say the lads were shafted. Though the impeding recession was the main cause.
