    Hi,

a few of my friends are thinking of going over to the saints - chargers match in london.

Just wondering roughly how long an average game like that goes on for. Have only really watched the superbowl and some playoff matches.
Am i right in thinking this will be a bit shorter due to shorter ad breaks / half time etc.

Or are all matches roughly equivalent in terms of break delays?

We're planning on going to a concert that evening so on kinda a tight schedule but would like to get to the match

    Thanks

Technically goes on for 1 hour 15mins a QTR but you can expect it to go on for 3 hours minimum. So add Id say 3 hrs 15mins to the kick off time. With all the stoppages NFL games run for over the 3 hour mark.

You can never tell really though. Low scoring, defence-orientated game: over faster, because the clock stops less. Lots of passing: could be there years.

others are pretty much right, basically depends what's working on the day. If the running game's working probably two and a half hours, if passing game's on it'll be longer than 3. Think it'll be more of a passing game

Last year apparently it was quite easy to get tickets outside the stadium at knock down prices though I didn't see any touts but I arrived from the train station and I think they were hanging around the tube station.
