I have a marshy area (about 10 metres x 10 metres) in my garden which looks terrible and is in bad need of attention. I have had the idea for some time now to make this a formal planting area. Has anyone any advice on what tress, shrubs etc. would grow in such an area? I have two Phormiums there that are doing very poorly, and a Weeping Willow that is thriving.
