I saw several items here about using Homeplug, so I tried it to link my garage to the house BB. Devolo DLAN 200 AVeasy.
House is 3 years old, main panel in the house and sub-panel in the garage.
The speed was much reduced compared to inside the house, but still exceeds my BB line.
Up 22 Mbs, down 18 Mbs.

PS inside the house was 100 Mbs.

Haven't tested the speed, but yes it seems to work well.

I'm using it with an IPTV service to stream to a TV STB in the front room from my modem in the studyand it has been working fine. Reliable and no problems on the TV STB, so a fairly good test.

Seems to be more reliable then wireless.
